COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Mississippi University for Women's Division of Athletics and Recreation is bringing to the Columbus community Parents' Night Out. The one-night event on Friday, Feb. 9 gives parents the opportunity to kick-off Valentine's Day weekend kid-free.
The W staff along with Owls athletes will provide a safe environment from 6-9 pm for the children of the community to come and partake of games, snacks, and fun.
"We are excited to roll out first ever Parents' Night Out event for our local community children. With the return of our Athletics program, this event will also serve as an opportunity for our local kids to interact with our student athletes. We anticipate registration filling up quickly, so we suggest signing up early," said Director of Campus Recreation LeAnn Alexander.
The inaugural event is $10 per child for up to 2 children with special pricing for families with children of 3 or more.
The cash or check payment is due at check-in.
Doors at Pohl Gymnasium open at 5 p.m. for check-in with a pick-up time of 9 p.m. There will only be 100 spots available for this amazing event so make sure that you pre-register HERE to reserve your spot.
