DuBois, Penn. – After a long and competitive season the inaugural season of The W baseball team concluded during the fourth round of the USCAA Small College World Series. The Owls played well against Selma University but late inning errors cost them the game and ended The W’s journey to the USCAA championship.
DuBois, Penn. – The W softball team ends its season in the fourth round of the USCAA Small College World Series on Wednesday, May 16. The Owls battled hard against the No. 4 seeded NHTI but they were unable to overcome the fatigue of a long week. The Owls fell 3-2 after a NHTI seventh-inning rally.

DUBOIS, Penn. – Senior pitcher Cara Hopper showed her experience and skill on the mound to deliver 11 strikeouts with one hit-against in the Owls 7-0 victory over Penn State – Beaver in game one of the USCAA Small College World Series. The Steen, Miss. pitched the best seven innings of her career to improve to 7-6 on the season.
DUBOIS, Penn. – This entire season Coach Matthew Wolfenbarger has preached to the Owls baseball team to continue the fight even if they find themselves down. In game one of the USCAA Small College World Series, Coach Wolf’s words stuck with his team and The W was able to overcome a 7-3 deficit to take Florida National 10-9.
The Owls Athletic program currently offers 10 sports with over 100 student-athletes, coaches, and administrators. The W athletic program, after a 15 year break, is constantly growing with additional teams being added during the 2018-19 academic year. As a part of the event, the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) recognized the 2018 All-Academic Team and the All-American Teams.

Despite the great offense, the Owls were unable to top the Toppers early lead to fall 16-11 at the BMC Sportsplex on Tuesday, April 24.
PARAGOULD, Ark. – The Owls baseball team grabbed a doubleheader victory to take the Crowley’s Ridge College three-game series 18-5 and 12-10 on Saturday, April 21. With the series behind them, The W improves to 17-12 on the series and move one step closer to a bid in the USCAA Small College World Series.

The Owls struggled to get the scoring game going to fall 1-0 in game one but took game two 4-3 in a late inning comeback. The W moves to 19-17 on the season and is currently ranked 8th in the USCAA Coaches Poll.

JACKSON, Miss. – The Owls baseball team was unable to keep the Belhaven Blazers at bay, falling 14-13 to Belhaven University in an 11-inning game. The Owls drop to 17-11 on the season in the midweek loss.
TOUGALOO, Miss. - The Owls baseball team split the day with the Tougaloo College Bulldogs on Sunday, April 8. The W dropped one and grabbed one, falling 9-6 in game one but picking up game two 10-7. With the series behind them, the Owls move to 17-10 on the season.

NORFOLK, Va. – The United States Collegiate Athletic Association recently released the week one coaches poll for the 2018 spring sports. The Owls baseball and softball teams were among those recognized for their efforts this season.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The W softball team falls to 17-15 on the season with a doubleheader loss at Huntingdon College. Despite the Owls fierce defense, the team was unable to outlast the Hawks at the plate for the loss.
