PARAGOULD, Ark. – The W baseball team hit the road for the last time of the 2019 regular season with a trip to Paragould, Ark to take on Crowley’s Ridge College on Saturday. The doubleheader was originally scheduled as a part of a four-game series but was cut to two after a couple of days of bad weather. The Owls struggled defensively against the Pioneers to drop both game of the day, 4-3 and 8-0.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The W men’s golf team traveled to Memphis, Tenn. to participate in the 2019 Rhodes Men’s Spring Collegiate Golf Classic Monday, April 15 – Tuesday, April 16. The Owls competed against some of the top NCAA Division III teams including Berry College, Belhaven University, Sewanee: The University of the South, and Hendrix College. The 16 teams played at the Windyke Country Club in Germantown, Tenn on a par 72, 6,774-yard course for 54 holes.
JACKSON, Miss. - The Owls softball team split a doubleheader with in-state rival Millsaps College on Tuesday, April 16 at the Millsaps Softball Complex. The Owls dropped game one 3-2 but had a fierce comeback for a 8-2 victory in game two. The Owls move to 22-9 on the season.

A midgame comeback for the Bearcats took game one from the Owls 5-4 but The W recovered in game two for a 6-3 victory. With the doubleheader behind it, The W moves to 16-7 on the season and look to rise in the Week 3 USCAA Coaches Poll.

NORFOLK, Va. - The Owls baseball team move us in the Week 2 USCAA Coaches Poll to tie UC-Clermont at the number three spots. The softball team remains steady at number two but with just one vote less than number one's Clearly University the Owls are on the verge of taking the top spot in Week 3.
MOODY, Ala. – The W softball team traveled to Moody,Ala. for a doubleheader on Wednesday versus NAIA opponent Talladega College at Moody City Park. Due to heavy rain during the week, the Talladega softball field was underwater, so the two teams moved the competition to a neutral location.
COLUMBUS, Miss. – After a tough start, the W baseball team rallied to score five runs in seventh inning to defeat Robert Morris - Peoria 9-6 in the final game of the series. The Owls improve to 15-6 on the season.

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Owls softball team hosted Stillman College in its last home doubleheader of the 2019 season. This was the second time the two teams faced each other on the field with The W sweeping the Tigers 1-0 and 7-2 on the road.
The Owls attempted to repeat the road success at home but were only able to take one game of the doubleheader winning the first game 9-1 in five innings and dropping the second 2-0.

Following a sweep over Judson College at home, The W was able to repeat the feat on the road, taking down the Bearcats in the first game 15-0, and claiming the second win, 11-2.
COLUMBUS, Miss. – The W softball team (15-6) battled USCAA-sister institution Judson College (11-11) in doubleheader action Wednesday evening inside of Owls Park at Don Usher Field. The Owls came from behind in both games to sweep the Eagles 3-2 and 6-3.
MADISON, Miss. – Led by junior Dylan Cash the Owls men’s golf team finished play at the Mississippi College Spring Invitational in Madison, Miss. in fifth place on Tuesday. Cash finished eighth for his first top-10 finish to lead the way for The W.

Strong offensive play continued to roll for the Owls in game one as they won 6-2, but errors crippled The W in game two for a 9-5 loss.
