SWANNANOA, N.C. – Freshman midfielder Zerick Brown scores Owls only goal in Saturday's match at Warren Wilson. The W (2-4-3) played well defensively to allow only one goal by its fellow USCAA-institution to end the game in a 1-1 tie.

Warren Wilson struck first with a goal in the first half of the game. The W locked the match in the final period when Brown scored with an assist from Brayan Resendiz.

Junior keeper Selvin Lopez played the entire 90 minutes for two saves and one goal allowed.

The Owls will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct. 2 when they travel to Montgomery, Ala. to take on Huntingdon College. Kick-off is set for 6 p.m.
