BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Owls men’s tennis team fell to Birmingham Southern College on Sunday, Feb. 9 at the Dielen Tennis Complex in Birmingham, Ala. With the loss, The W is now 0-3 on the season.
SOUTHAVEN, Miss. – The Owls men’s tennis team fell 7-0 to Christina Brothers University on Saturday, Feb. 1. The W women’s team also suffered a loss at CBU, dropping its first match of 2020, 6-0.
COLUMBUS, Miss. – Director of Athletics Jason Trufant and the Owls athletic program would like to take the time to recognize the 111 student-athletes who received a GPA of 3.0 or better during the fall 2019 semester. Because of their academic efforts, the scholars have been named to the Fall 2019 Athletic Director's List. Among those student-athletes recognized, 38 Owls hold at least a 3.5 GPA and 20 finished with a 4.0.
NORFOLK, Va. – The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) has revealed the first round of 2019-2020 Director Cup standings. The standings consist of results from the 2019 USCAA Golf, Volleyball, Soccer, and Cross Country National Championships in addition to points for 2019 National Convention attendance and sports offering.
COLUMBUS, Miss. – The W men’s tennis team dropped its first official match of the 2019 season against Freed-Hardman University, 9-0, on Thursday, Oct. 24 on the Dr. Barbara Garrett Tennis Courts on the campus of the Mississippi University for Women.

COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Owls men’s tennis team took on NCAA DII opponent Delta State University in a homecoming competition on Saturday, March 30. The W did what it could against the in-state foe but struggle to score opponents to fall 9-0.
