Soccer Prepares for MidWeek Action Against Wesleyan College

MACON, Ga. – The Owls women's soccer team will be back on the road for midweek action as they travel to Macon, Ga. to face Wesleyan College. The Owls (0-6-0) will face the Wolves (0-4-1), a NCAA Division III institution, on Wednesday, Sept. 19.  

Leading the team offensively in shots is Caroline Grafe with eight shots and following Grafe is Sarah Walden with five shots. Both Grafe and Walden have played and started in all six matches. 

In front of the Owls goal, Sarah Gilliland has been the go-to starting goal keeper. Playing in six games with six starts, Gilliland has racked up 550:00 of playing time with 11 goals allowed, 38 saves and a .776 save percentage.

Kick-off against the Wolves is scheduled for 1 p.m.
