Owls Cross Country Season Opens at MCThe Owls men’s and women’s cross country teams open up their season on Friday, August 31 at the Mississippi College Season Opener at Choctaw Trails. The men’s 5k will begin at 5 p.m. and the women’s 5k is set to start at 5:45 p.m.

Welcome to the Owls DanicaDanica, a local 4-year old girl, was diagnosed with a Wilms tumor in July. This is a cancer of the kidney that is common to children. The tumor and kidney have been removed. Danica has completed radiation treatments and is now undergoing several months of chemotherapy. She and her parents are staying at Ronald McDonald House at St Jude’s for now.
The W Athletic Department has adopted her as a member of the Owls and will be hosting several events at games to promote pediatric cancer to raise funds and awareness. Stay tuned to our outlets for more info.
Owls Staff Assists with Rock Steady at the YCOLUMBUS, Miss. – The Owls Athletic Department and the Frank P. Phillips Memorial YMCA have formed a partnership to better serve the Columbus Community and The W campus.
